about us
Living with kingdom values
Gracious Visitor,
Welcome to Raising Up Humanity!
Our team is excited that you stopped by because we believe the Lord brought you here for a reason.
Just some quick facts: 1) we are a Messiah-centered movement, 2) we are dedicated to sharing the love of Messiah, and 3) we lead by serving (as Yesua exemplified for his disciples). There’s so much more to say, but I’ll summarize by highlighting one important fact about us: We deeply value relationships!
While browsing our website, you’ll come across various statements about our organization and mission, but to fully understand who we are requires a personal touch. We’d love to learn more about you and what brought you to Raising Up Humanity.
If it not’s too much, leave us a message with a little information on your story and how you got here. We’d be more than happy to connect with you, help you find ways to partner with our mission, and share more details of how our great Father is moving across Palestine.
Thank you again for your interest!
Your Brother In Messiah,
Oday Helal
our vision
Founded in 2010, Raising Up Humanity has the vision of being a Messiah-focused, Holy-Spirit-empowered, and disciple making organization that reveals the true face of Yesua (Jesus) to the people of Palestine.
In an ever-changing world, Raising Up Humanity believes its core values are the long-lasting tools that will guide and influence its mission of raising up kingdom leaders in Palestine.
core values
Purposeful Relationships:
We value building deep personal relationships. We value working together, studying together, fellowshipping together, and breaking bread with one another. We value constantly reaching out to meet new people and strengthening old bonds. We value building healthy relationships through organic and genuine methods. We value the productivity, spiritual unity and power that relationships create. The Bible says, “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13).
Moral Cultural Assimilation:
We value assimilating into cultures and subcultures, especially through language acquisition. We value the learning and upholding of local traditions, customs, and social behaviors among all people groups, as long as they do not conflict with the Word of God. Our desire is to “earn the favor of the people” in any given culture/society, while consistently maintaining our moral measuring stick from Scripture, in order to win more lives for the Kingdom. “I have become all things to all people,” said the apostle Paul, “that I might by all means save some” (1 Corinthians 9:22).
Healthy Child Development:
We value children! We value the responsibilities of protecting, teaching, and loving children with Yesua-like virtue. We value training children to love God and their neighbors. The famous words of Yesua, “Let the little children come to me” (which can be found in three gospels) carry significant impact.
Opening the Word of God:
We value the Bible as the foundation and guideline for our lives. We value opening up the Bible and sharing with people. We value the success, protection, and blessings that come from living a life of obedience to the Word of God. Therefore, we value opportunities where we can open the Word and plant seed in the hearts of “good soil.” Deuteronomy says, “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up” (Deuteronomy 6:6-7).
Ministerial Transparency:
We value the greater ministry family and the delegated spiritual authority they trust us with. We value donors that give God his tithe and bring additional offerings into the kingdom. We value presenting the ministry family with clear documentation, reports, and updates that are easily accessible. We value transparency in every program, project, and person, and we openly welcome and discuss areas of ministry improvement. The author of Hebrews says, “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account” (Hebrews 4:13).
Kingdom DNA:
We value the gift of life that comes with following Yesua. We also believe that every believer comes equipped with spiritual gifts and a call to use those gifts in the kingdom of heaven. We value helping people find and utilize their God-given gifts, so as to fulfill their God-given destinies. Yesua said, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19).
